Down by the banks of the hanky panky...Where the bull frogs jump from bank to bank-y

My little Bry bry........you know how in my past blog I said she did her own thing?? Well this is one of those things - this is what we came upon last week.

She came up to me asked me if I wanted to see her frog?

This is one of my glasses......and a measuring cup........first off I told her not to be playing with my measuring cups...so I took it off the glass........this set her off she started crying - I didn't understand why........Well - this was the lid - to where she had her frog. So I gave it back to her.

She is so proud........she caught a frog!!!

See the excitment?!?!?

See her frog? Yes that is a green battery.......a marble - and a nail file - for the frog to climb on.

She carried this around for 2 days. EVERYWHERE.

Along with her laptop........she and her frog had lots of fun. Yes I'm one of those dorky moms that allow their children to wear those tacky temporary tatooes.

Yesterday evening we met up with my parents - brother/sister and their families for a family dinner - we went to Boston's. It was such a "PLEASENT" peaceful dinner...........baaahahahahaha You believe that don't ya?!?!?

We had our 3 kiddos....my brother had his little girl, and my sister had hers.........yea quiet!! It went smooth like butta'.........!

Yea this is how my family rolls:

Getting a picture of everyone......my brother of course trying to cover Abbi's face. Jerimy is coloring with the kids - mind you I forgot to tell him I was taking the pic.

Me and Abbi

Brylee to Kennedy "Climb on up here and jump off like I do - you can do it, you won't get in trouble! I promise"
Kennedy taking Brylee's words to heart "jump jump" And grammy stopping her. That mean grammy!!

My to menz "BOOOOO Duke" Go Tarheels!!

Grammy and Grandaddy with the Girls - Braxton didn't want to take a pic

OK...I saved the best for last...........leave it to Abbi she's rotten, I don't know where she gets it from. And look at mom and dads faces!!! Mom has crazy eyes and looks like a robot...and dad looks like he is yelling over at someone!
Well needless to say we did have a good time! I enjoyed spending time with my family!!! I hope everyone has a fun safe HAPPY 4th!!!!!!!!!!!

duh nah nah nah duh nah nah na BATMANNNNNN

My lil' Bry Bry is a VERY unique child. She has her special ways about her. I call her my little pack rat or bag lady. She picks out specific toys/objects that she likes to carry around each day. She picks out something different every afternoon, and that is the object for the next day. She goes to bed with that object in hand - and first thing the next morning she goes for it.

She has special places she puts these little goodies. At first the hubs and I didn't realize she was hiding things........Jerimy went to the 'fridge' one night and there was a bible in there - Jerimy asks me what it is doing in there.......I wasn't sure. Well Brylee gets up the next morning runs to the fridge gets the bible out. This is one of her places she likes to put things. We find all kinds of things in there (nothing gross - YET).

Another places she likes to put things now is under her pillow. These things are never anything big or flashy. It's things like - a keyring flashlight, stuck down in a container - A block - pieces of paper - tablet...things like that. Odd things for that matter. But of course not odd to her, and she has a fit if those things are not in the spot she puts them or if she leaves them at home.

Sunday evening Brylee found Braxton's Batman mask........she wore it all afternoon, and told me she was going to wear it to church that night (she forgot), but she didn't forget Monday morning - Jerimy goes to leave to take them to the sitter and guess what she had on:

She also has to have a "snack" in the morning....see her right hand (2 cookies). She usually doesn't eat the snack....just carries it. My little Bry Bry likes to carry things.....it's very unusal if she doesn't have something in hand.

She's always packing things in containers (playdough, plastic eggs, etc), bags (winn dixie), boxes, purses, backpacks, little carry bags.......and it's always the same ol' thing - unusual...one crayon, 2 plastic forks, a car, paper - etc.........but she ALWAYS remembers what she packs in there.

She is a mess - and she constantly makes me smile :-) The things the kiddos do!!!!

summer, summer, summertime

The kiddos and I went over to my mom and dads on Monday - spent the day swimming and hanging out (posted the pool pics on Wednesday). McKenna and Brylee stayed a few days with my parents. (McKenna tends to stay a lot of the summer)

Tuesday they took the girls to the beach - along with Kennedy, Abbi's
little girl. This is the first time Brylee has ever been to the beach - she loved it!! As you can see from the pictures below (she is a little lilly).

I can fly higher than an eagle, 'cause you are the wind beneath my wings

Today is a very special day and I'm going to talk about two VERY special men in my life.

This first one is my very best friend, the person I count on every day - this man always brings a smile to my face, he makes me a stronger person - and makes me so happy. My husband, the love of my life - Jerimy.

I couldn't ask for a better man to stand by me. He is such a wonderful father and husband. Jerimy is a great dad - he always helps me out with the kiddos.......he's right there with me in the mornings getting the ready for school, and he's the one that picks them up every day. He's always at every event, party - what ever the call - he takes me and the kids everywhere with him (besides work of course). What makes me most proud is the fact that he is right there beside us taking us to church. He is a good Christian man, husband, father. This fills my heart.

Happy Fathers Day honey - I love you so very much, YOU are a wonderful DAD! Thank you for being the man that you are!!!!

The next man that I would like to talk about of course is my DAD. This is a great man, I truly don't know how he does it. The trials that he has faced (me being one), but he has had a battle for 30+ years and he keeps going strong.

My dad always stood beside me no matter what - he was always there for me. Every sporting event, trips, and most of all Church. I was raised in a good Christian home thanks to this man, and thanks to his up-bringing I married a wonderful good Christian man.

I have always looked up to my dad, I wanted a man in my life that was just like him. I may not have always showed him how special he was, but he will always have that special place in my heart. I know I put my dad through a lot, but today I am a stronger person thanks to him, and I did find my way back thanks to his teaching.

I just want to say to my dad Happy Fathers Day and thank you for ALWAYS standing by me and being there for me - I love you more than you know. Thank you.

I have to say there is not a day that goes by that I do not talk to my dad on the phone - I may not live right behind him anymore, but I have to hear his voice.
