Wiggity wiggity whack

Me and the hubs try to go out and be grown-ups every now and again - we used to try to do it about every other month - this was a entire night without the kiddos....now it's more like every 4 to 6 months - it just happens time slips away. I thoroughly believe every couple needs a date night. Now mind you we do go out to the movies or out to eat more often then 4/6 months - but that is like a 2/3 hr trip - it's nice, but it is VERY nice to have an entire night to yourselves.

This has seems to be happening when someone close to us has a birthday - it's a great excuse to have a NIGHT out. This time it happened to be my cousin's birthday. We decieded to do a sort of theme for this...........WIGS - everyone had to wear wigs. I thought this was a fun idea - and you get to be someone different. I went out and bought my wig - the first I got was a blonde about shoulder length....ummmm I didn't try this on - and I did so when I got home NO NO NO - it wasn't working for me. I called the store and asked if I could exchange it...they said yes - so the next morning I took it back and took McKenna with me. I knew she'd tell me if it looked good or not - because the night before the look on her face told me the blonde wasn't doing it!

I ended up with a reddish colored one...long. See below for our lovely night out........(OH and yea germs did not participate)

Oh...and the girl on the far left (by me)....isn't wearing a wig - she has a real live mullet!!

On another note..........I won my first award!!!! Mz. Heels from a balancing act in heels gave me my first award!!!! I will be posting more about it later (hopefully tomorrow) and will be passing it along! I am SO excited!!!!!!! Thank you Mzzzzz Heels!!!!
