Say Yes to vuh vuh vuh VBS!

G'day Mates!!! Well we had VBS this past week - it has been a fun awesome......TIRING week! It has been a blessing though. I along with my kiddos (hubby) had a great time! I am glad it's over - when you work all day, rush home get ready...go up to the church from 6pm - 9pm it makes for a LONG day!!

Our theme this year was Boomerang Express (I know just about everyone's was). I did the crafts this year - it was so much fun!!!! We made: Bracelets (two different kinds), necklaces, sun catchers, boomerangs (two), frisbees, friendship pens, Maps, other hangers, Keychains, Puffy Aussie Art - all the kids seemed to LOVE it!!

I tell you, it was such a blessing working with these kids all week - I was truly touched.

Well.......it's turned out to be a busy busy summer so far. I just feel like things are not slowing down - and will not be slowing down any time soon.

Friday night me and the kiddos went to Jerimy's Softball game (minus McKenna - she was still at my folks they VBS last week). We spent most of the time at the playground - like we'd really watch the game?!?!? Ha - One look at *below* and I was done for. I packed up snacks and drinks and we were GOOD TO GO!

This week is our VBS - Bommerang Express - I know many churches are doing this one. I'm very excited about it. We have it every night from 4 yrs to 94 yrs (is what they advertise). I love that we have adult classes - I think everyone should be included. It's from 6pm - 9pm every night (I'm going to be SO tired) They do feed us though!!

We had our kick off last night - we start on Sunday night that way we get a full week....we do our BIG night Friday night...with our ending ceromonies. I'm heading up the crafts - whoo hooo, can't go wrong there - I think I have the most FUNNEST job ever!! Besides I got to order stuff from the Oriental Trading Post!! Who as a kid didn't want to order EVERYthing from that catalog?!?!? I was beyond excited - I ordered us the most nifety things!! All "outback" themed of course!! G'day Mate!!

Arrrrrr - It's a Pirates Life for me!

Well the hubs and I got away this past weekend for our anniversary trip - we usually try to get away for the weekend to have some grown up time. We went to Universal - and we had a great time. It's nice to get away every now and again!

We left Friday night....got up Saturday went to the park. That evening the hubs made reservations for a Dinner Theater Show - Pirate Dinner Adventure it turned out to be a lot of fun, it was a cute show. We went back to the Park on Sunday - this time to the Islands of Adventure side. It turned out to be a very nice weekend!!

We did come home to a sick son - please be praying for him, he's still not doing too well. Thanks bunches!!!

I love the way you love me

6 years ago today I married the love of my life. I feel very lucky indeed - he is my best friend and my everything!!! I feel very blessed. He is a awesome dad, and a awesome husband. I couldn't ask for more.

We were married at my parents - in the back yard under a pecan tree, his dad married us. It was the happiest moment of my life. I feel like one lucky lady.

HAPPY Birthday to you...Happy Birthday dear Braxton!!!!

Today...my little man turns 5!!! It's hard to believe 5 years ago today he was born. Time goes by SO fast. I cherrish each moment with my kiddos - they are so very special. It's hard to imagine life before them...........(though I do remember having quiet days) - I wouldn't change it for anything!!

Saturday we had Braxton's Birthday party - it turned out wonderful....it was a HOT sunny day!! Couldn't have asked for better weather. We rented a water slide for his party (we actually set it up Friday night so the kiddos could have extra time). We grilled hamburgers, hotdogs, and had bar'b que!! Tons of good food...lots of great friends and family!!

Tuesday Braxton had his Pre-K Graduation...hard to believe - time is going by SO fast!!!! He had a awesome year, and he loved school. I am very proud of him!!

Monday - McKenna was in a talent contest at school.....her and a friend did the Charleston - they had their little flapper dresses.
